Submitted by Denise Telck

Recreational Services strives to keep the K-State community healthy and active while continuing to provide services to our patrons. Over the next month, Recreational Services will reopen spaces for additional opportunities for recreational use.

The north sand volleyball courts reopened Wednesday, March 10. Outdoor volleyballs can be checked out at the north service desk. Social distancing is encouraged and masks are required.

Other areas that will reopen later this month will include racquetball courts, squash courts and the games lounge. Indoor courts with usage limits of two individuals per court. Outdoor Rec area including basketball, tennis, and the main sand volleyball courts will open pending weather conditions.

Our Outdoor Rental Center will open March 22 allowing people to rent canoes, kayaks and paddleboards.

Further information on future availability will be announced on the Recreational Services website and social media @KStateRec.
