Save the date: Bandwidth Recovery workshop for faculty and staff Jan. 19
The Division of Student Life Staff Development and Engagement Committee invites all K-State faculty and staff to join us for the Spring 2021 Student Life Virtual Institute, happening Jan. 19-22.
The institute will begin with a keynote workshop facilitated by Cia Verschelden focusing on the topics covered in her book, "Bandwidth Recovery: Helping Students Reclaim Cognitive Resources Lost to Poverty, Racism, and Social Marginalization." This includes exploring the things that take up and occupy bandwidth space for our students, how to consider those things inside and outside of the classroom, and provides resources for faculty and staff to help students regain bandwidth.
