Thank you from K-State United Way
Submitted by Communications and Marketing
The K-State United Way Committee would like to thank the generous supporters of the 2012 campaign. It is times like these we see just how much the Kansas State University family cares about helping friends and neighbors.
The campaign ran from Oct. 26 through Dec. 7, with more than 400 donors pledging more than $87,400. This includes Manhattan, Olathe and Salina campus employees, as well as employees of the K-State Alumni Association, Kansas State University Foundation and K-State Athletics. These dollars will help create positive change for individuals throughout our region in areas like health and wellness, literacy rates, graduation rates and financial independence.
Once again, the committee is very grateful for all pledges to the 2012 K-State United Way campaign. In two months we made a lifelong impact in the lives of so many and it couldn’t possibly have happened without participation from our many enthusiastic supporters.
