Moment of Mindfulness

Submitted by Kodee Walls

Join Counseling Services for a Moment of Mindfulness at 11 a.m. on Mondays or at noon on Fridays. The group will meet via Zoom for about 50 minutes to discuss what mindfulness is, practice mindfulness together, increase a mindful and authentic community, and reflect upon our experiences.

The free online mindfulness moment is for students who would like to:

  • Reduce anxiety and stress.
  • Decrease self-criticism and perfectionism.
  • Nurture kindness and authenticity.
  • Improve focus and increase self-compassion.

Please note: This is not therapy, and we do not engage in therapy with participants. Rather, this is a drop-in space open to all K-State students who are looking to increase mindful living. If you are in need of therapy, please call Counseling Services at 785-532-6927.
