Reminder: Diversity Programming Committee Requests due today

Submitted by Nathan Bothwell

Applications for Diversity Programming Committee funding will close at 5 p.m. March 6. The Diversity Programming Committee is currently reviewing requests for events that will take place between the first day of the fall semester and Oct. 31. Apply for funding online.

The committee allocates funds to student organizations that are hosting large-scale events that are intended to dissuade prejudice and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, geographic location, or age. Requests for funding must be a minimum of $3,000 and the events must be hosted on K-State's campus. Additionally, projects must be free and open to all K-State students.

Any questions about funding can be directed to Nathan Bothwell, chair, at ndbothwell@k-state.edu
