K-Staters will receive alcohol and drug notification email

Submitted by Office of the President

Kansas State University is required by law to annually notify all students, faculty and staff of alcohol and other drug policies, sanctions and the risks associated with use. The information will be sent to all K-Staters via email March 6 and is also available online at k-state.edu/report/clery/drug-free-schools/index.html.

This notification provides the campus community with the following:

  • Alcohol and drug programs available to students and staff.
  • Health risks associated with alcohol abuse and illicit drug use.
  • Applicable university policies and standards of conduct and disciplinary sanctions for students and staff regarding alcohol and drug use.
  • Federal and state legal sanctions.

Keeping K-State safe depends on the cooperation, involvement and support of all university community members. Thank you in advance for taking the time to review the information and doing your part in maintaining a safe and healthy campus community.
