Psychology faculty, students present at conference

Faculty and students from K-State's department of psychology and colleagues recently presented at the annual meeting of the Society for Quantitative Analyses of Behavior in Denver, Colo.

Kimberly Kirkpatrick, associate professor of psychology, and Tiffany Galtress, postdoctoral researcher in psychology, presented "Motivation and timing," an invited talk. The duo also presented "The effects of changes in motivational state on timing."

 Ana Garcia, doctoral student in psychology; Angela Crumer, master's student in statistics; and Kirkpatrick presented "Individual differences in impulsive choice behavior in different strains of rats."

 Andrew Marshall, doctoral student, and colleagues from Brown University presented "The effect of stimulus probability and position on simultaneous temporal processing."
