Throckmorton Hall annual emergency light test

Submitted by James Seymour

Annual emergency light testing will take place from 4-7 a.m. Dec. 16-20 at Throckmorton Hall. Due to the size of the building, this test will take several mornings to complete.

The test will consist of turning off circuit breakers that provide power to emergency lighting fixtures. The entire building will not lose power, only specific circuits will be affected. Any electrical devices on these circuits will lose power during the test. Normal power should be restored no later than 7 a.m.

Note: These are breakers we turn off every month during the monthly emergency lighting tests. If equipment has not been affected in the past then it should not be affected during the annual testing.
