Fire Prevention Week: Experience using a fire extinguisher
Fire Prevention Week is Oct. 7-11. This year's theme is "Not Every Hero Wears a Cape — Plan and Practice Your Escape."
K-State's Environmental Health and Safety Department will provide educational information and remind the community that fires can happen anywhere. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to stop by to learn about and get hands-on experience using a fire extinguisher from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following dates and locations:
- Monday, Oct. 7, north of Wefald Hall
- Tuesday, Oct. 8, and Wednesday, Oct. 9, on Bosco Plaza
- Thursday, Oct. 10 at the K-State Polytechnic Campus north of College Center
