Women of K-State to host 'Brown Bag Goes Red'
The Women of K-State and American Heart Association, Kansas, invite you to bring your healthy lunch and learn about women's heart health in depth from Dr. Ramez Smairat with the Heart and Vascular Clinic. The lunch will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at the K-State Office Park, 1880 Kimball Ave.
RSVP online or email marcia.hornung@heart.org by July 1, as space is limited.
Smairat will talk about the differences in heart health between men and women, what cardiovascular disease really looks like for women, as well as the impact it can have on their lives.
The event is sponsored by Heart and Vascular Clinics and is free to attend, registration is required. The American Heart Association will provide fruit-infused water and dessert for guests.
