K-State Confucius Institute offers Chinese culture summer camp

Submitted by Max Lu

The Confucius Institute will host a Chinese culture camp from May 28 to June 21. This is a great way for children ages 6-12 to experience the fascinating Chinese culture through crafts, games, Chinese sports and arts, as well as get started learning a new language.

The camp will be half days from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on the K-State Manhattan campus. Students may attend just one week or stay for all four weeks. The camp fee is $65 per week and sibling discounts are available. The Confucius Institute will provide all the supplies needed.

Sign up online or contact the Confucius Institute to register by phone, 785-532-3680; email, tong5@k-state.edu; or stop by the office at 1800 Claflin Road, Suite 205 — above Arrow Coffee — in Manhattan. Enrollment will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
