Catholic Student Organization to host talk by Lamar Hunt Jr. at St. Isidore's
The Catholic Student Organization will host a talk by Lamar Hunt Jr., co-owner of the Kansas City Chiefs NFL team, at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at St. Isidore's Catholic Student Center, 711 Denison Ave. Hunt will speak about his life journey and the role his Christian faith has played in it all.
Hunt is a businessman, entrepreneur, sports promoter, musician and philanthropist. His father, Lamar Hunt, was the founder of the Kansas City Chiefs and left behind a large legacy.
"My father taught us to think of others first and put ourselves last," Hunt said.
This is evident in the ventures and charities Hunt holds so high in priority amongst his many responsibilities and ownerships.
