Vacation leave accruals with May 31, June 14 and June 28 paychecks

Submitted by Human Capital Services

Twelve-month employees who earn eight hours of vacation leave per pay period will not accrue vacation leave the last three pay periods of fiscal year 2019. This impacts the following paychecks:

  • Pay period ending May 18 — paid May 31.
  • Pay period ending June 1 — paid June 14.
  • Pay period ending June 15 — paid June 28.

New employees who started after June 17, 2018, and part-time employees who have not accrued their full 176 hours of vacation leave, will accrue vacation leave for pay periods ending June 1 and June 15.

Since pay period ending May 18 results in the third paycheck in the month of May, there will be no employees accruing vacation leave.

Please contact your department liaison with questions regarding leave accrual.
