Submitted by Communications and Marketing
"Saturday Night Live" head writer and "Weekend Update" anchor Seth Meyers will bring his comedy to Kansas State University.
"An Evening with Seth Meyers" will be 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at the university's Bramlage Coliseum. Tickets for this Union Program Council-sponsored event go on sale 8:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at the K-State Athletics ticket office in Bramlage Coliseum, online at www.k-statesports.com or by calling 800-221-CATS.
With a successful history of "Saturday Night Live" cast members at Kansas State University, including Will Ferrell, Darrell Hammond, Tracy Morgan and Al Franken, the Union Program Council is excited for another member of the sketch comedy show to perform on campus, said Laura Oxler, the council's entertainment co-chair.
"We have heard great things about his show from other universities and think it's going to be a home run," Oxler said.
"K-State students have been looking for a large entertainer to come perform, and we know this is that event," said Ross Jensby, Union Program Council entertainment co-chair.
Tickets for Kansas State University students are available for $10-$25. Military tickets are available for $23-$33 and non-students tickets can be purchased for $25-$35. Taxes and other fees will apply. Students and military must present a valid ID for entry.
