Participants still needed for a survey on teaching

Submitted by Becky Everley

Becky Everley, doctoral student in adult education and leadership, is conducting research to compare faculty and student ideas about what teaching activities are most beneficial for the academic success of undergraduate international non-native English speaking students.

Participants are needed to take a brief online survey.

Even if you do not have any international students in your class, your participation in this survey is useful.

"Information resulting from this survey will help us know more about teaching for success with our international students, which hopefully with help with retention of this important population at K-State," said Jana R. Fallin, director of the Teaching and Learning Center. "Please take 10 minutes to complete this survey."

At the end of the survey, you have the chance to enter a drawing for one of two $25 Amazon gift cards.

For more information or questions about the survey, contact Becky Everley at everley@k-state.edu.

This study has been reviewed by the K-State Institutional Review Board and received approval No. 9428.
