Pet Away Stress

Submitted by Carly Tracz

Head on down to the Quad from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 10 for the second Pet Away Stress of the semester. The third event of Mental Wellness Week features adoptable dogs — thanks to Purple Power Animal Welfare Society — that want to be loved by you. Stop by between classes to meet these new friends and relieve some stress during midterm season.

Please note: Dogs cannot be adopted and taken home directly from this event, but representatives from Purple PAWS will be available if you have any questions.

In case of rain, this event will be canceled. However, just across the Quad will be Fresh Check Day from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., hosted by the Wellness Coalition. Visit these booths to learn more about your overall wellness and win prizes along the way.

Rain location for Fresh Check Day will be the Fiedler/Rathbone atrium.
