McCrea presents research at conference in Costa Rica
Heather McCrea, department of history, presented "Salud pública, modernización y tropicalidad en la cuenca del Caribe" — translated as "Public Health, Modernization, and Tropicality en the Caribbean Basin" — at the IX Simposio de la Sociedad Latinoamericana y Caribeña de Historian Ambiental — translated as Symposium for the Society of Latin American and Caribbean Environmental History — on July 20 in Liberia, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
The symposium was hosted by the regional division of the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica's Department of History.
