Philosophy professor awarded Fulbright grant for 2018-19
Jon Mahoney, professor of philosophy, has been awarded a Fulbright grant for the Kyrgyz Republic in Central Asia.
Mahoney's research will focus on religious freedom. He will teach courses on political philosophy at Ala-Too International University in Bishkek, give lectures at other universities, and also organize at least one conference. Since the average elevation of the Kyrgyz Republic is about 9,000 feet, Mahoney also will spend time strolling through the Tien Shan Mountains. This is Mahoney's third Fulbright grant.
