New tuberculosis screening requirement for domestic students

Submitted by Julie Gibbs

All newly admitted and newly readmitted domestic students have been asked to complete a tuberculosis, TB, questionnaire as required by Kansas Statute 65-129e that states all incoming domestic students to Kansas universities are required to be screened before attending classes.

Each student must log into iSIS to answer a few questions about TB. The questions are in the iSIS Student Center --> "Other Academic" --> TB Questionnaire.  If this is not completed by Aug. 19, an academic hold will be placed on the student’s account and will prevent the student from enrolling in classes the following semester.

For more information identifying who must be screened for TB, go to www.k-state.edu/lafene/ and click on the side bar tab “TB Questionnaire” or contact Lafene Health Center at 785-532-6544 or email lafene@k-state.edu.
