National Science Foundation's director of mathematical sciences to present colloquium today
Sastry Pantual, director of mathematical sciences at the National Science Foundation, will present a colloquium at 2:30 p.m. today in 114 Burt Hall. The title of his talk is "Opportunities for Mathematical and Statistical Sciences."
Pantual will discuss various funding and other opportunities for mathematical and statistical sciences at the National Science Foundation. New programs in computational and data-enabled sciences will be discussed. This is also an opportunity to hear feedback from the community regarding future needs.
