Public lecture in geology
The department of geology is sponsoring a public lecture on impacts and mass extinctions by Spencer Lucas, New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science, at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, in 101 Thompson Hall. The title of Spencer's talk is "Twenty-Five Years Plus of Research on Impacts and Mass Extinctions." Refreshments will be provided.
