UAS data processing course offered at Kansas State Polytechnic

Submitted by Kirsten Zoller

Kansas State Polytechnic is offering another opportunity to attend UAS Data and Image Processing Aug. 17-19 on campus in Salina. This will be the last opportunity to attend this course this year.

This three-day training course focuses on collecting quality still imagery with a small unmanned aircraft system, or sUAS, for precision mapping and vegetation analysis. Attendees will participate in the planning, execution, and data collection and analysis of an actual mission during the course, and receive hands-on experience with Agisoft Photoscan, Pix4DMapper and ArcGIS software.

Led by data collection and analysis experts from Kansas State Polytechnic, this course is appropriate for beginners as well as individuals looking to take their knowledge to the next level.

Registration will close Tuesday, Aug. 8. K-State faculty, staff and students are eligible for a 50 percent reduced registration fee. Find more details or register online. Please contact Kansas State Polytechnic Professional Education and Outreach at 785-826-2633 with questions.
