Burrack presents at international assessment conference

Frederick Burrack, director of the Office of Assessment, will join Kelly Parkes from Columbia University and Brian Wesolowski from the University of Georgia in presenting two spoken paper presentations at the sixth International Symposium on Assessment in Music Education in Birmingham, England.
The first session, "Model Cornerstone Assessments: Changing the Paradigm of Measuring Student Learning in the USA" is April 19. The second session, "Phenomenography: Bringing Together Theory and Practice Through the Process of National Standards Development and Measure Construction" will take place on April 20. Both topics also will be shared in a poster session.
These projects will collimate in a book published by Roman and Littlefield in fall 2017.
