School of Music faculty Slawomir Dobrzanski performs in India

Slawomir Dobrzanski, K-State professor of piano, gave a lecture-recital on the life and music of celebrated Polish composer Fryderyk Chopin Jan. 3 at the Trivandrum Center for Performing Arts in Thiruvananthapuram, the capitol city of India's Kerala state.
Marking the premiere concert featuring the very first concert grand piano ever acquired for the purposes of public performance in the city, Dobrzanski's recital was attended by around 400 local and expatriate Western classical music enthusiasts and was covered extensively in the local press.
