Department of entomology's distinguished alumna to give seminar Friday

Sue Blodgett, chair of the department of entomology and department of natural resource ecology and management at Iowa State University, will present the department of entomology's distinguished alumna seminar at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Town Hall at the Leadership Studies Building.
Blodgett's presentation is "One size does not fit all: Alfalfa weevil management in the Intermountain West." She is the department of entomology's distinguished alumna for 2011.
Blodgett's background is in field crop entomology. She earned her master's and doctorate degree in entomology from K-State. Blodgett also holds degrees from Cornell University and Syracuse University.
