Pre-Law Ambassadors select new members

Submitted by Daralyn Gordon Arata

K-State's Pre-Law Ambassadors recently selected five new ambassadors for the 2016-2017 academic year. Student ambassadors serve as representatives of pre-law at university events and help recruit promising new students to the pre-law program.

Formed in fall 2015, the ambassadors unite students with a common interest in the law, enrich the academic atmosphere of the pre-law community, and facilitate a positive experience for students within the pre-law program.

New ambassadors include Sarah Pride, junior in family studies and human services, Lansing; Miranda Moore, sophomore in communication studies and business administration, Pittsburgh; Sarah Bures, sophomore in business administration, Topeka; Emily Zwick, sophomore in agriculture economics, Wichita; and Brooke Pemberton, junior in sociology, Fort Collins, Colorado.

Returning ambassadors include Darja Meskin, philosophy, Bucklin; Heidee Prosser, political science, Greensburg; Ryan Haefke, accounting, Holton; Bret Gum, agriculture economics, Johnson City; Drew Kohlmeier, biology, Manhattan; Jordan Rinner, history, Manhattan; Devon Ronsse, chemical engineering, Marquette; Brett Sitts, communication studies and political science, McPherson; Sam Hughes, political science, Sabetha; Riley Nickel, political science, Topeka; Scott Lamunyon, psychology, Towanda; Tara Terwilliger, political science and gender, women, and sexuality studies, Wichita; and Caitlyn Dougherty, history, Winfield.
