Alumnus Samuel Brinton returns to K-State to speak on issues of nuclear engineering and LGBT advocacy

K-State alumnus Samuel Brinton will speak on campus on Monday, Feb. 15. Brinton is a multi-faceted graduate of K-State with degrees in nuclear engineering, Chinese and opera with a master's degree in nuclear engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts. Brinton is currently a senior policy analyst with the Bipartisan Policy Center's Energy Project where he helps to lead the efforts of the Nuclear Waste Initiative.

Brinton will present "Amidst the Glow of Nuclear Waste Policy" from 4-5 p.m. in 1109 Engineering Hall in the engineering complex. He will speak separately from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on LGBT advocacy, "You Can't Change What We Never Chose."
