K-State's Notice of Nondiscrimination

Submitted by Travis Gill

Dear K-State community,

Kansas State University is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy educational and work environment that recognizes the inherent worth and dignity of every person, fosters tolerance, sensitivity, understanding, mutual respect, and where no member of the university community is subjected to unlawful discrimination or harassment in any university program or activity.

Any employee, student, campus visitor or person who has experienced or witnessed discrimination, harassment, sexual violence, retaliation, domestic/dating violence, and/or stalking while participating in a university program or activity is strongly encouraged to report the incident(s) promptly. All supervisors and administrators must report such complaints to the Office of Institutional Equity as soon as practicable upon notification or first-hand knowledge — including by email if after regular business hours.

For additional information regarding options for reporting concerns to the university — or for resources to assist you or any K-State community member that may have experienced discrimination — please visit our website at http://www.k-state.edu/oie/titleix/ for concerns of sexual violence, sexual harassment, or domestic/dating violence; or http://www.k-state.edu/oie/ for all other concerns of discrimination.
