Call for posters for the Women Managing the Farm Conference
The 2016 Women Managing the Farm Conference is requesting poster submissions for its annual conference Feb. 4-5 in Manhattan. K-State Research and Extension is a partner of this event. Faculty and students are encouraged to submit proposals and share their research with this diverse audience of women involved with agriculture.
The conference theme is "Her AgriCULTURE Story: Wisdom, Heritage, Stewardship" and targets women engaged in all segments of agriculture. Examples include but are not limited to: farm owners; farm renters; absentee farm owners; farm partners; livestock producers; crop producers; farm helpers; business managers; agriculture industry professionals and those who want to start a farm.
The poster session will take place from 2:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan. For additional details and to submit a proposal please access the online submission form.
