Open forums announced for interim vice president for research candidates
The two finalists for the interim vice president for research, Peter Dorhout, professor of chemistry and dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, and Mary Rezac, Tim Taylor professor of chemical engineering and interim associate vice president for research, will present open forums.
Dorhout will present an open forum from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the UMB Theatre in the Beach Museum of Art.
Rezac will present an open forum from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, in the UMB Theatre in the Beach Museum of Art.
Read the candidates' application materials. K-Staters are invited to review the application materials and attend the open forum sessions with the candidates, which will feature a short presentation regarding the candidate's vision for the position and time for questions and answers. The open forum sessions will be recorded and available on the search website, as will a link to a feedback form.
Formal feedback forms or verbal or written input on the candidates can be directed to members of the search committee: Christine Aikens, Vincent Amanor-Boadu, Daniel Andresen, M.M. Chengappa, Shannon Fisher, Paul Lowe, Amanda Martens, Beth Montelone, or Jacqueline D. Spears.
Please provide any input on the search no later than noon Thursday, Dec. 3.
