K-State Research and Extension faculty honored at national conference

K-State's Alpha Rho chapter of Epsilon Sigma Phi was represented by 18 K-State Research and Extension faculty at the recent national conference held in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. 

Epsilon Sigma Phi is a professional organization dedicated to fostering standards of excellence in the Extension System and developing the Extension profession and professional.

Two individuals were honored at the recognition event. Doug Jardine, professor and extension specialist in the plant pathology department, was honored as the North Central Region recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. Debra Bolton, Southwest Area family and consumer sciences specialist, was recognized as the recipient of the North Central Region Diversity/Multicultural Individual Award.

Seven faculty presented concurrent sessions during the conference: Laurie Chandler, Diane Mack, Gayle Price, Trudy Rice, Nadine Sigle, Stacey Warner and Jennifer Wilson.
