Remind graduate assistants to enroll in health insurance by Aug. 31
Are you an adviser to a graduate teaching assistant, graduate research assistant or graduate assistant appointed to a 0.5 full time equivalent position — or combination of positions — and working at least eight consecutive weeks in the fall semester?
If so, please remind them to enroll for United Health Care coverage by Aug. 31, for retroactive coverage beginning Aug. 1. Should they not enroll by Aug. 31, they may still enroll, but coverage will not become effective until the enrollment is received by United Health Care.
