Submitted by Amanda Tross

We invite you to take a break from your day and support Manhattan's Theodore Roosevelt Elementary Troubadour Choir. Their annual choir tour is making stops at Varsity Donuts, McCain Auditorium, the K-State Student Union and the Manhattan Town Center Mall.

Today's performance schedule:
9:25 a.m. at Varsity Donuts
10:20 a.m. at McCain Auditorium, Kirmser Hall or Room 204
12:15 p.m. at K-State Student Union
1:10 p.m. at Manhattan Town Center Mall

The Theodore Roosevelt Troubadour Choir are fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade students who voluntarily stay after school once a week to advance their musical skills. They are under the direction of Shana Lander, Theodore Roosevelt Elementary's musical instructor and 2007 K-State graduate. Assisting is Scotti Claeys, senior in music education, and Eli Gillespie, junior in musical education and trumpet. The Troubadour Choir is funded through a YES! Grant fulfilled by the Manhattan-Ogden Public Schools Foundation.
