Free Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD, testing Jan. 24

Submitted by Gina Lowe

Mercy Regional Health Center, Lafene Health Center, and K-State recreational services are jointly offering free Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD, testing. If you or someone you know has symptoms such as chronic coughing or shortness of breath or wheezing, this test can be a valuable tool in the early diagnosis of the disease.

The testing will be done at the Chester E. Peters Recreational Complex from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24. The testing is available to all individuals associated with Kansas State University – faculty, staff, students and retirees – and involves a breathing test. No preregistration is required.
