In October, the K-State Book Network Book Selection Committee asked for community feedback on the first round of finalists for next year's book selection. That feedback has persuaded the committee to broaden the range of possible titles.

Visit the K-State Book Network website to read about the new finalists and offer your feedback by Friday, Jan. 20, 2012.

K-State Book Network is an all-university reading program that selects a common book for the academic year and coordinates exciting classroom and campus activities to correspond with the reading. As part of K-State First, the K-State Book Network provides incoming students with a shared academic experience that they can discuss with professors, staff, administrators and other students when they arrive on campus.

The Book Selection Committee looks forward hearing your thoughts on the four new titles, so the 2012 selection can build on the success Suzanne Collins's "The Hunger Games" and Dave Eggers's "Zeitoun."
