Cups for a Cure to raise money for breast cancer charity, Sigma Alpha, Collegiate Cattlewomen
Cups for a Cure philanthropy and fundraiser, presented by Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority and Collegiate Cattlewomen, is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 27-29 at the K-State Student Union on the first floor near the food court.
Individuals have the option of purchasing ping pong balls — three for $1, five for $3 or 10 for $5 — and competing in a contest by throwing these balls at bra cups to try to score points. The winner who tossed and scored the most points at the end of each day will win a gift basket.
Collegiate Cattlewomen also will be selling T-shirts at the booth.
Money raised from this event will be split between Sigma Alpha and a local breast cancer charity. Money from T-shirts will go to support Collegiate Cattlewomen.
If you are not able to make it to the event, but would like to donate or purchase T-shirts, please contact Courtney Hoover at hoovercourtney@k-state.edu.
