K-State use of ImageNow/Perceptive Content recognized for cost-savings approach

Submitted by Information Systems Office

K-State's use of ImageNow software, now renamed Perceptive Content, was featured in a recent article on Perceptive Software's website, "Kansas State University: a DIY approach to expansion on campus."

K-State's "train-the-trainer" approach has helped save funds and allows departments to focus their dollars on licensing and scanners, said Rhiannon Englert, ImageNow systems specialist in the office of information systems.

K-State has been using Perceptive Content software since 2002 to eliminate paper files, improve efficiencies and improve business processes by leveraging organized and secure electronic-document storage and workflow. The software was first adopted at K-State by the offices of admissions, financial assistance, human resources — now human capital — and the registrar.

Other departments are now seeing the benefits and requesting use of ImageNow/Perceptive Content. For more information, contact Rhiannon Englert, renglert@k-state.edu.
