Submitted by Florence Sperman

Liang. T. Fan, university distinguished professor of chemical engineering; Ferenc Friedler, president, University of Pannonia, Veszprém, Hungary; and colleagues published “Relationship between Extreme Pathways and Structurally Minimal Pathways” in Bioprocess and Biosystems Engineering, vol. 36, pages 1199-1203.

Friedler spent Nov. 15-18 in the chemical engineering department to conduct long-lasting collaborative research with Fan.

Fan has published more than 600 journal articles and reports, many of which are related to process systems engineering, chemical reaction engineering, transport phenomena, biochemical engineering and biotechnology, biomass utilization, environmental engineering, energy resources conversion and material processing.
