K-State entomologist wins award for Web app
K-State entomologist Brian McCornack was awarded a North Central Branch Entomological Society of America Educational Project Award for a Web-based app at the organization's recent meeting in Rapid City, S.D.
The award was presented on June 18 by branch president Billy Fuller. McCornack has created several valuable Web-based solution apps for enhancing the capacity of growers to manage their crops, and to more effectively and safely manage insect pests in their crops. His skills have also significantly enhanced web interactions and functionality for regional research projects and other groups.
