Journal of International Business Studies selects entrepreneurship professor's article for international entrepreneurship collection

Submitted by Brent Fritzemeier

K-State assistant professor of entrepreneurship Saurav Pathak's 2013 study "Consequences of cultural practices for entrepreneurial behaviors" was chosen by the Journal of International Business Studies as one of the top 15 papers of the past decade on the topic of international entrepreneurship.

The curated list of articles was assembled by the journal in an effort to help scholars from diverse traditions recognize ways in which they might join conversations about international entrepreneurship.

Pathak's study, which was co-authored by Erkko Autio and Karl Wennberg, highlights the differential effects of cultural practices on entrepreneurial entry and growth aspirations, and demonstrates the value of multilevel techniques in analyzing the effect of culture on entrepreneurship. The study has 137 citations on Google Scholar, and is the second most cited paper in the Journal of International Business Studies for the year it was published.
