The Kansas State University Police Department (KSUPD) is available 24/7 and can assist in speaking after hours with the Dean on call. KSUPD can be reached directly at 785-532-6412.
Confidential Resources
- Lafene Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) is available during business hours and is located in the lower level of Lafene Health Center.
- Kansas State University has partnered with TimelyCare to introduce a new virtual health and well-being platform for students. Through either a mobile app or your desktop, TimelyCare provides 24/7 access to virtual care from anywhere in the United States at no cost.
- CrisisNow: 24/7, phone-based mental health support when facing urgent emotional challenges. No sign-up, no wait, just call and connect with a trained counselor in just a few seconds. 785-626-8878.
- The 988 Lifeline is a national resource available to assist in mental health related concerns. You can call or text '988' - the lifeline is available 24/7.
- The Center for Advocacy, Response, & Education (CARE) office offers confidential, free and voluntary resources to students, staff and faculty who have been impacted by sexual violence, domestic/dating violence, sexual harassment, and stalking. The CARE office is available during business hours.
These resources are confidential in nature, meaning they will only break that confidentiality in instances where there is significant concern of harm to yourself or another person.
Additional Supportive Resources
- Student Support & Accountability (SSA) is available for students who may be impacted by a hazing related concern. You may also consider submitting a Student of Concern referral for yourself or another student if you have concerns for any impact related to hazing.
- Office of Civil Rights & Title IX is available for anyone who believe they may have experienced a concern under the University's Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Harassment, and Procedure for Reviewing Complaints (PPM 3010).
