Third parties Verifications

The Office of the Registrar, as part of Kansas State University, has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide degree and enrollment verification to third parties. All third party requests are required to be submitted to National Student Clearinghouse.   To submit a request please visit www.degreeverify.org .  National Student Clearinghouse may be contacted directly at 703-742-4200

The services provided by the Clearinghouse are in full compliance with all applicable privacy laws including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).

Loan Deferment Information

Four times a semester K-State submits a secure FTP (File Transfer Protocol) of student’s enrollment status to the Student Clearinghouse, who then supplies the verifications to lending agencies.   The University does not supply information directly to lending agencies. This process speeds the flow of information to lenders and provides them with an available record of all enrollment status including enrollment at other, participating, institutions.

If a student registers late, or receives an exception for a retroactive withdrawal, this information may not be reported until the next submission cycle.   Deferments for current enrollment will not be sent until after the first day of the semester.   Occasionally your circumstances may necessitate that a manual deferment form be submitted to your lender.    In these situation, please email registrar@ksu.edu for additional information.
