Office of Student Financial Assistance

The Office of Student Financial Assistance awards all student loans, grants and scholarships. Go to for information about how to apply for student loans. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed each year to determine your eligibility for federal financial assistance.

FAFSA Applications

Current FAFSA Simplification information can be found on the Office of Student Financial website at As a result of FAFSA Simplification:

  • The 2024-25 FAFSA will not be available on October 1. The U.S. Department of Education’s anticipated launch date of the 2024-25 FAFSA is December 2023.
  • Due to the change in 2024-25 FAFSA availability, K-State has moved our FAFSA Priority Date from December 1, 2023, to March 1, 2024 for the 2024-25 aid year.
