International Education Week - The Office of International Programs (OIP) hosts this collaborative event that provides and opportunity to recognize, advance and elevate international awareness across the K-State campus through a variety of events.

International Buddies (IBuddies) - pairs local K-State students, staff, and community members with international students, scholars and family members every fall and spring semesters. Once paired, Buddies meet regularly to learn about each others' cultures, customs, and explore Manhattan & K-State.

International Coordinating Council (ICC) - working together to promote cultural understanding. ICC works with the international student organizations at K-State and various groups in the Manhattan community, to celebrate diversity and host cultural events. ICC provides guidance to international students and also serves as a voice for international students at the university level.

International Service Teams (IST) - works with international communities in identifying a need and developing a project to meet that need. The projects are completed by an interdisciplinary team of K-State students. The students work to engage in community outreach, civic leadership and cross-cultural communication skills while developing their capacity to serve as a team, understand the ethical implications of international community development and engage in a transformational leadership through service experience.

Service Learning Opportunities - works with the non-governmental organization (NGO) Natün Guatemala to provide students with individualized service-learning opportunities. Depending on your area of interest and language ability, you may end up working with Natün Guatemala itself or they will coordinate your work with a different organization.

Vernon Larson Lecture - Vernon Carl Larson was an international visionary who built K-State's International Agriculture Programs through projects in Nigeria, India, the Philippines and elsewhere throughout the world. Once K-State's Office of International Programs (OIP) was created, he led it through many years of successful growth and expansion.
