Kansas State Summer Camps

Every summer, K-State hosts summer programs designed to educate and inspire youth in a variety of academic, athletic, and extracurricular endeavors. Participants have the opportunity to further their education and skills while experiencing life at K-State and making new friends from around the county. Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan

School age (K-6) and teens (7-12) are all welcome to partake in the summer programs provided by the local Boys & Girls club. Please visit their website to learn more about the summer opportunities available.

Flint Hills Discovery Center

Fun for the whole family. Features interactive historical exhibits, 4-D movie experience, summer adventure camp and a host of other activities.

Sunset Zoo Summer Camps

Sunset Zoo is your summer learning destination! Our summer camps lead youth on an exciting exploration of the outdoors and the animal world. Youth ages 5-10 can join us for this WILD adventure for one week or all summer long. Class sizes are limited, so make sure you reserve your spots early! Hours and services

  • M-F 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Location: In the Jon & Ruth Ann Wefald Pavilion located in Manhattan City Park. This is where you will drop off and pick up your child.
  • 5 to 12 years
  • Licensed: 75
  • Lunch and snacks provided
  • Registration deadline: April 1 (fills up quickly)
