Welcome to the Office of Nationally Competitive Scholarships at Kansas State University. We advise students interested in nationally and internationally competitive scholarships.
K-State has a proud tradition of our students competing for national scholarships; and in fact, these students, supported by the faculty and staff who mentor them, have achieved notable success. Read about our National Scholars to learn more about that record of success.
You should consult with your department and/or Student Financial Assistance if you seek money awarded by K-State.
1. Kudos to Cadence Ciesielski, Philosophy and Spanish, for winning two national fellowships: Phi Kappa Phi Graduate Fellowship AND Mortar Board Fellowship. Recent Kansas State University graduate receives Phi Kappa Phi, Mortar Board fellowships.
2. Congrats to six K-State students for winning the Gilman Scholarship to study abroad! Ainsle Markle, senior in mechanical engineering and French, Cassandra Rodriguez, junior in communication sciences and disorders, Amanda Smith. senior in human development and family science, Caitlin Snyder, junior in animal sciences and industry-pre-veterinary, and Shelby Thornton, senior in architecture. K-State students awarded Gilman scholarship for education abroad experiences.
1. The Udall scholarship just opened! This scholarship is for Sophomores or Juniors with a career plan related to the environment or tribal public policy. This scholarship awards 55 scholarships of $7,000. The campus deadline is January 13th! Read the campus application here: Campus Application
