Massimo Ferrara has over 15 years of experience teaching Italian language and culture in both the United States and abroad. He holds a B.A. in Sociology and an M.A. in Global and International Studies. At Kansas State University, he helps students develop strong communication skills and cultural awareness, preparing them for meaningful academic and personal experiences in Italy.

Massimo is passionate about creating a relaxed and supportive classroom environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning through experience. His courses are highly organized, interactive, and inclusive, emphasizing real-world applications and cultural contexts in language learning.

He has led Italian study abroad programs six times, most recently traveling with students through Tuscany, Liguria, and Sicily—bringing language and culture to life beyond the classroom.
