K-State develops employment policy on ineligibility for hire/rehire

Submitted by Human Capital Services

Kansas State University has developed a new employment policy regarding ineligibility for hire/rehire.

The policy is intended to ensure an effective, safe and secure work environment by excluding those individuals from employment whose conduct is deemed detrimental to the mission and interests of the university.

The new policy details the various circumstances that may result in the ineligibility designation along with how an ineligibility designation may be determined. Human Capital Services is responsible for the development of the policy and it may be accessed in the Kansas State University Policy and Procedures Manual, Chapter 4012
