Submitted by Cailin Riley

Several K-State Libraries staff and faculty members presented at the Kansas Library Association 2022 Conference.

Cliff Hight, department head of special collections; Jason Coleman, academic services librarian; Julie Bell, director of information technology services; Laura Bonella, department head of academic services; and Michelle Turvey-Welch, department head of metadata, preservation and acquisitions, presented "Re-rebuild and re-reconnect: K-State Libraries respond to a disaster and a pandemic." Their presentation highlighted some of the strategies the Libraries used during the last few years to persevere through tough challenges and still meet patron and student needs.

Laurel Littrell, director of library planning and assessment, presented "How can libraries work together to promote higher education to Kansas students?" Her presentation discussed several ways Kansas educators and librarians can help demonstrate the value of higher education.
