Submitted by Center for Student Involvement

involvement exploration week

The Center for Student Involvement will host Involvement Exploration Week Oct. 8-16.

All campus departments and student organizations are invited to host and promote their events as part of this special week to support student involvement. This may include student organization meetings, an invitation for students to watch a performance or game, a guest speaker or workshop, or any other special student-centered event, such as a social or celebration.

To have your event included in the marketing campaign, please complete the following steps.

For registered student organizations:

  • Create your event through your group in OrgCentral — events must occur between Oct. 8-16.
  • Send the Center for Student Involvement an email at studentinvolvement@k-state.edu to let us know you would like to have your event included in Involvement Exploration Week.

For university departments and offices:

  • Send the Center for Student Involvement at studentinvolvement@k-state.edu a link to your event website or university calendar event page. If you do not have an event page, please share the following event details in your email:
    • Event name, description, date, time, location, hosting office and a photo.

We're excited to offer this opportunity for students to increase their sense of belonging, involvement and connections at K-State. We hope you will join us in highlighting engagement opportunities for students!

Please contact the Center for Student Involvement at studentinvolvement@k-state.edu with any questions or information requests.
